Dublin Dr. Pepper

Jul 19, 2005 by Visual Recipes | Filed in Spotlight on Food | 0 Comments

The oldest Dr Pepper bottling plant in the world is located in Dublin, Texas. What makes the plant unique is that it is the only Dr Pepper bottling plant to still use the original recipe for the soda which called for Imperial Pure Cane Sugar. In the 1970’s the price of sugar rose and as a result all major beverage companies switched over to high fructose corn syrup. To read about the history of the drink and plant and to also purchase this original drink to try you can visit their website.
