Garlic Smashed Potatoes

Ingredients
- 8 red potatoes
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup ricotta
- scallions
- 4 cloves of garlic (or more if you like garlic)
- parmesan cheese or parmigiano regiano or romano
- salt and pepper

Smash the garlic with the flat side of your knive and take the skin off. Then chop the garlic until very fine.

Add salt and pepper to taste, possibly extra butter.
