Ingredients:

Stuffed Peppers recipe picture 16 Green Peppers
1lb. hamburger
half an onion
couple of baby portobello mushrooms
1/8 tsp garlic salt
1tsp salt
1 cup cooked rice
one 15oz. can of tomato sauce

Step 1:

Stuffed Peppers recipe picture 2Cut the tops off of the peppers, seed, and remove the white stuff.

Don't even think about wasting the tops! Cut them up for the salad and for a yummy snack.

Step 2:

Stuffed Peppers recipe picture 3A shot of the rest of the peppers which were the wrong size, or too good for stuffed peppers.

Stuffed Peppers recipe picture 4Brown 1lb. hamburger with half an onion chopped.

Stuffed Peppers recipe picture 5Cut up a couple of baby portobello mushrooms in to whatever size you want.

Stuffed Peppers recipe picture 6Add the chopped portobello mushrooms when the burger has about 3 minutes left.

cooking image 14Cover with aluminum foil. And cook for 45 min @ 350F.

cooking image 15After 45 min remove the foil and top with mozzarella cheese. Cook for 15 more minutes.

cooking image 17My yummy meal. Stuffed peppers with a salad of romaine, broccoli, cauliflour, peppers (told you we didn't waste them!), grape tomatoes, blue cheese crumbles, and ceasar vinegrette /w parmesan dressing.
