Antipasto is an Italian appetizer/salad dish that takes literally minutes to make.


  • Prep: ~30 mins.
  • Cook: ~30 mins.

  • Lettuce
  • Tomato
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Marinated Roasted peppers
  • Marinated Artichoke Hearts
  • Spanish Olives
  • Genoa Salami
  • Balsamic Vinegar

Step 1

Get your mozzarella cheese.


Step 2

Take it out of the water (or just unwrap it and cut it up if you buy the big chunk) and dump it in the salad.


Step 3

Add Olives.


Step 4

Then the artichoke hearts and peppers.


Step 5

Next roll a few pieces of salami.


Step 6

Toss those in, toss the salad and add some balsamic vinegar. Optional ingredients I didn't use because they weren't in my refrigerator mushrooms onions black olives ham - regular or spiced provolone cheese pepperoni hot peppers You can use a lot more to make it. My cousins use anchovies and tuna in theirs. My grandmother has so many ingredients in hers she puts them all out separately so everyone can make their own.
