- Fresh Green Asparagus - trimmed, blanched
- Chinese Cabbage chopped
- Egg Tofu / Silk Tofu cut to size
- Mushrooms (any type will do), chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic crushed
- 2 Chives chopped
- 2 tbsp Oyster Sauce
- 2 tbsp Corn flour
- Butter as needed
- Sugar and Pepper to taste
- oil as needed
- water as needed
Deep Fry those tofu until forming golden skin. Put aside.
Melt 2 tbsp butter, add garlic, stir until fragrant.
Add mushrooms, stir until softened. Mushrooms will absorb the butter quickly, so add more butter if needed. This will make the mushroom has a nice buttery flavor too.
Add cabbage and garlic chives (white part only), stir.
Dissolve 2 tbsp of oyster sauce with 4tbsp of water.
Add it to the vegetables.
Add asparagus, add sugar and pepper to taste.
Dissolve 2 tbsp of corn flour with 4tbsp of water. this will glaze the vegetables and thicken the sauce a bit.
Add, mix well.
Throw in the garlic chives, mix well, turn off your stove.
Arrange fried tofu on a plate.
