  • 1 slab of pork ribs
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup tomato paste
  • 3 tsp honey dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 small finely minced onion
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/4 cup citrus juice ( i used our native calamansi for this recipe. lime or lemon would do or even plain vinegar)
  • hot sauce (put as much as you would like)
  • salt and pepper to taste

Step 1

Mix all the ingredients to make your marinade.

Step 2

In a zip lock bag, place the ribs and pour over the marinade.

Step 3

Close the bag and just massage the marinade on to the ribs.

Step 4

Put on top of a container and let sit in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, preferably overnight.

Step 5

Grill for about 15-20 minutes or until meat is done.

Step 6

For a quick side dish I just did a quick saute of diced carrots, corn and frozen green peas in butter.

Step 7

And whip up some mashed potatoes.

Step 8

Plate and enjoy!
