This is a refreshing and easy tropical papaya pie recipe that you have to try. If you have never had a papaya before, the fruit is deep orange in color with a soft texture and sweet taste. Papaya makes for a great addition to a pie not only for its taste, but because it is loaded with vitamins and antioxidants.


  • 1 Papaya You want to pick out a ripe sweet papaya
  • 1 cup condensed milk
  • 3 cups cool whip
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 ready made pie crust

Step 1

Cut the papaya open and scoop out the seeds and strings.

Step 2

Use a large spoon to scrape the fruit out of the shell.

Step 3

Blend the papaya fruit. Then, in a bow mix the lemon juice, condensed milk, papaya, and the whipped cream.

Step 4

Pour the mixture into a graham cracker pie crust and smooth out the top. If you don't have a pie crust you can learn how to make your own graham cracker pie crust.

Step 5

Freeze your papaya pie for 6 hours so it can set. Be sure to remove the papaya pie from the freezer 10 minutes before serving. The pie goes great with whip cream so be sure to add a dollop on top!
