IntroI'm a wing addict! It's not just a bar or sports food to me. This teriyaki chicken wings recipe has been years in the making after many failed attempts I think I finally have the perfect balance of crispy and saucy =)
- 1 5lb bag chicken wings
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh cracked black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Lawry's Seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic seasoning
- 1 tablespoon salt free garlic and herb seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon liquid smoke
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinaigrette
- 1 cup Veri Veri Teriyaki
- 1/4 Cup Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ Sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
- garnish cilantro
- frying oil
Warm oil in a frying pan. Season thawed wings with the dry seasonings (everything except the sugar).
Once the oil is hot, place the seasoned wings into the pan. The oil should come half way up the wings. Fry the wings for approximately 10-20 minutes each side. Wings will be golden brown when done. The internal temperature of the wings needs to reach 165º Fahrenheit. Remove the wings from the oil and place them on paper towels to drain off remaining oil.
In a small pot combine sauces and bring to a boil.
Dip wings into sauce and garnish with cilantro.
